Jacob, 19, is a Sophomore Bible and English Major at Freed-Hardeman
University in Henderson, Tennessee. His hometown is Westminster, Colorado and his family attends the Mission Point Church of Christ. This summer Jacob is the NWSD intern based at the Metro Church of Christ in Gresham, Oregon. One of the things he is excited about is the opportunity to use his Spanish skills in the grown Hispanic ministry at Metro. He is working under the direct supervision of
Rick Edgemon, long time west coast preacher and associate minister.

Mitch, 21, is a Junior Bible & Family Ministry major at Harding University. His hometown is Hillsboro, Oregon, and he grew up attending the Southwest Church of Christ. Mitch served as a student leader in Project Antioch in 2021-22 and
through it developed a heart for ministry. This summer, Mitch is again the NWSD intern based at the Redmond Church of Christ in Redmond, Oregon. He is under
the supervision of Kevin Williams, a long-time minister who grew up on the

mission field.

Ian, 21, is a Senior Ministry major at Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, Tennessee. He hails from Blanchard, Michigan and has attended the Bellows and Browns Church of Christ for his entire life. Ian is interested in bi-vocational ministry and is excited to spend a summer in the Pacific Northwest and serve churches in this region. This summer Ian will be the NWSD intern based at the Southwest Church of Christ under the direct supervision of Darren Williamson.

Hunter, 21, is a Senior Bible and Ministry major at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. His hometown is Collierville, Tennessee (just outside Memphis), and his home congregation is the Great Oaks Church of Christ. This summer Hunter will be the NWSD intern based at the Oregon City Church of Christ in Oregon City. He will work alongside the three ministers on church staff and receive supervision from Ron Murphy, who has preached for the Oregon City congregation for more than three decades.

Robert Young, Jr

Robert, 21, recently graduated with a BS and MBA from Freed-Hardeman University. He comes from a ministry focused family and is excited about how this internship will help him discern directions for him in ministry. His hometown is Rosedale, New York and he worships with the Long Island Church of Christ. This summer Robert is the NWSD intern based at the Circle Church of Christ, Corvallis, Oregon. He is working
under the direct supervision of Wes Hanson, a well-known and respected minister in the region.
